As Predicted!

If you saw my last post all I can say is, called it, dead on the money! As I woke up at 4:45 and looked at the river it had just flattened out at 5200CFS after a full day of rain and 50 degree weather. By the time I strapped my boat up and hit the road it was spiking back up and raining like crazy. Met My partner in crime, talked it over and decided to go for it. Turns out we fished a rising river all day...by ourselves!

Turned out to be one of the best days of winter steelhead fishing I have ever seen. Had we not known there were a ton of fish in the lower river during the low, cold, clear days preceding then we probably would've taken a pass on the already high river and poor forecast. That's why you go, rain or shine!
