August Steelhead Fishing Report Deschutes River

The White River went out last night due to the late summer rains, it's should clear pretty quick.  Prior, the river has been fishing very well and fish are caught every day mostly on dry lines.  If the fishing holds up this will be one of those years.  We still have some dates open in October but September is packed and the remaining days in August are booked.

After Labor Day the angling pressure should be spread throughout the entire river making it easier for floating and enjoying your day.  If the Deschutes is on your bucket list make this the year...it's been really good!
